Just offshore lies the skeletal remains of the Sea-Thrush, a merchant caravel driven aground during a storm thirty years past. The ship’s captain was a Breton scholar transporting tomes from the Iliac libraries; some say the wreck's belly still holds waterlogged scrolls wrapped in enchanted seals. During low tide, scavengers dare the slick rocks to reach her broken hold, but something beneath the waves stirs angrily when they get too close—be it sea wraith, slaughterfish nest, or something older still.
