A heavy writing desk bears open journals detailing her fears, hopes for Serana, and her growing dissent against Harkon’s tyranny. Broken alchemical apparatuses lie scattered near a cracked soul gem forge, and faded warding runes cling to the walls. At the far end, framed by cold stone, stands a dormant portal ring—its black soul fissures inert, the Soul Cairn beyond sealed but ever-watchful. Though abandoned, the room hums faintly with protective magicka, as if Valerica’s will lingers, refusing to let her knowledge fall into the wrong hands.
