The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel

The Hall of the Dead is a solemn crypt located at the northern edge of Windhelm's graveyard, serving as the final resting place for the city's deceased. Maintained by Helgird, a devoted priestess of Arkay, the hall features a dimly lit corridor that splits into two paths, leading to her modest living quarters and the shrine of Arkay.

The structure is austere, built from dark stone, with a heavy wooden door that creaks ominously when opened. Inside, the air is cool and still, with flickering candles casting shadows on the walls, illuminating the stone coffins and urns that line the catacombs.
