The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel

Nestled beneath the Temple of Mara in Riften, the Hall of the Dead serves as the city's crypt and embalming chamber, overseen by Alessandra, a devoted priestess of Arkay. The central chamber features a Shrine of Arkay, offering blessings to visitors, while surrounding corridors house coffins and urns, some containing the belongings of recently departed residents, creating a quiet atmosphere for reflection amidst the bustling city above.

The hall is dimly lit, with flickering candles casting shadows on the stone walls. The air is cool and carries a faint scent of incense, while the Shrine of Arkay stands prominently in the center, adorned with flowers and offerings from the living.
