Description
You force a dragon to feel the weight of mortality—a concept alien to them. Choose one dragon within 120 feet that can hear you. That dragon must make a Charisma saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). On a failed save, it is Dragonrended for up to 1 minute, unable to fly, suffering disadvantage on saving throws against being restrained or knocked prone, and losing resistance to nonmagical damage. At the start of each of its turns, it can attempt the saving throw again to end the effect early. If the dragon was flying when it failed the save, it immediately falls, taking appropriate falling damage and landing prone. Only works on true dragons and has no effect on those already grounded, unconscious, or immune to magic. Ancient dragons have advantage on the save due to their powerful grip on their own souls.
