Description
You shout to the heavens, tearing the sky open. Dark clouds roll in, thunder cracks, and lightning begins raining down across the battlefield. For the duration, at the start of each of your turns, choose 3 creatures within the storm's radius. Each must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma or Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, they take 4d10 lightning damage; half on a success. If a creature is wearing metal armor or standing in water, it rolls with disadvantage. The storm heavily obscures the area with rain and wind, extinguishes unprotected flames, and disrupts ranged attacks. Ranged attacks through the area are made with disadvantage, and Perception checks relying on hearing or sight are also made with disadvantage inside the storm. At level 18+, choose 5 targets per turn instead of 3, and lightning damage increases to 6d10. Can only be used outdoors under an open sky, has no effect indoors, underground.
