Description
The sai deals 1d8 piercing damage and 1d8 thunder damage and can be used to disarm a target (contested Dexterity check) or parry incoming attacks, granting a +2 bonus to AC against melee attacks. Once per short rest, you can use the sai to perform a counterstrike, dealing an extra 1d6 damage if you successfully parry an attack with it. The sai is a light finesse weapon, so it can be wield like a dual weapon and you can attack 2 times in a row on your turn.
