Description
Wargs are evil, demonic wolves that roam the lands of Rhovanion, feared for their cunning and ferocity. These vile creatures are often seen allied with Orcs, serving as their mounts and enforcers of terror. It is whispered that they are hosts for malevolent spirits, their origins possibly tracing back to the dark dealings of Morgoth in ancient times. Wargs communicate in their own dreadful language, a guttural tongue that resonates with malice and dread, and while they are fearsome predators of the night, they harbor a deep-seated fear of fire. The warg has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell. The warg has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the warg's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated. If the warg moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a bite attack on the same turn, the target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
