A world full of magic and wonder that is half diseased with The Mournshape on half the planet.

Author's Note: The planet is divided into two hemispheres: The Luminous Half – Known as Elarion, this side flourishes with magic, beauty, and abundant life. Peaceful kingdoms, floating cities, songbirds and sunshine. The Withered Half – Known as Ghalvarak, this half is cursed, overrun by The Mournshape. Dead forests, corrupted beasts, eldritch ruins, and a twilight sky.

Description

The Weeping Altar is a sentient altar that appears to be made of dark stone, with oily veins pulsating beneath its surface. It emits a soft, sorrowful sobbing sound, creating an eerie atmosphere in the dimly lit chamber where it resides. The altar feeds on the prayers of those who approach, and in return, it may whisper secrets or insights to those deemed worthy.

Appearance

The altar is a large, irregularly shaped stone structure, slick with a dark, viscous substance that glistens in the light. Its surface is marred with deep grooves and cracks, from which the oily veins pulse rhythmically, resembling a heart beating in sorrow.
