Fables in the Forgotten Realms

T
Tome64

The Forgotten Realms brought to life! Designed for narrative-rich experiences in the Forgotten Realms setting of Faerun's Sword Coast. While the main focus of the world is Waterdeep, locations throughout the Sword Coast and outer planes are available as well! Including Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, The Moonsea, The Outerplanes, and more! What was once a single city has now expanded to most of Faerun in this High Fantasy adventure of magic, technology, and secrets to uncover!

Author's Note: Welcome to The Forgotten Realms Step into one of the most iconic and richly storied worlds in Tabletop, The Forgotten Realms! Now expanded and reimagined for deeper exploration and immersive play. Waterdeep: The City of Splendors is your main gateway to the other famous Sword Coast locations like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, the Moonsea Region, and even the distant reaches of the Outer Planes. While Waterdeep remains the heart of the experience, its surrounding territories are available for those bold enough to venture beyond the city walls. This adaptation builds upon official Forgotten Realms lore, but introduces both minor and major changes to support a more engaging and open-ended campaign. For example, the characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 are playable, but have been recontextualized to exist in Waterdeep rather than Baldur’s Gate. Content is designed for compatibility with Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and a host of original plot hooks waiting to be uncovered across the city’s alleys, taverns, towers, and catacombs. You’re free to explore at your own pace, shape the world as you see fit, or lose yourself in the layered politics, mysteries, and magic of the world. This is not a replacement for a traditional tabletop game—it’s a love letter to it. Dedicated to anyone who struggles to find a group and is itching to play. If you enjoy what’s inside, consider supporting the official Dungeons & Dragons books. They remain an invaluable resource for players and storytellers alike—and they make excellent collectibles. Description

The Chapter House of the Order of the Radiant Heart stands as a beacon of hope and justice. This modest yet dignified structure is adorned with the symbol of a stylized heart, representing the order's commitment to combating evil and upholding the tenets of Torm, Tyr, and Helm. Inside, the air is thick with the scent of incense and the sound of soft prayers, as paladins and clerics gather to discuss matters of faith and justice. The walls are lined with portraits of esteemed members, each a testament to a life dedicated to service. A council of three Prelates oversees the chapter, ensuring that the order's noble ideals are upheld. The Chapter House serves not only as a place of worship but also as a training ground for aspiring knights, where they learn the virtues of honor, courage, and sacrifice. Here, the motto, 'The courage of one can change the destiny of many,' resonates deeply, inspiring all who enter.

Appearance

The Chapter House bears high stone walls etched with celestial motifs and the unmistakable emblem of a radiant heart. Iron gates open into a central courtyard used for sparring and prayer. Its sanctuary glows with warm candlelight, polished armor glinting beneath stained glass windows of heroic battles. Portraits of fallen knights line the walls, and the scent of incense lingers around engraved altars. Though restrained in decoration, every corner reflects solemn purpose.
