Drydock Hall squats near the piers of the Dock Ward, a massive timber-beamed longhouse with a roof shaped like an inverted hull and the guildhall for the Shipwrights and Mariners' Guild. Ship schematics line the inner walls, lacquered and sea-worn. The main chamber hums with low discussion—captains, harbormasters, and shipwrights negotiating contracts or issuing sailing licenses. Rope coils hang from beams above. Tools and rigging charts are locked behind brass-latched cabinets. A recessed stone floor holds a model drydock, enchanted to simulate tidal patterns for planning builds. The scent of salt, tar, and old rope permeates everything. Despite being located in the rough slums of Mistshore, the thugs and gangs steer clear of the area. Knowing meddling in guild affairs usually is a fatal error for their kind.
