Aric is of medium height (5'10") with a stocky, muscular build. His once dark hair is now graying at the temples, and his beard is kept short and neatly trimmed. He has a rugged, weathered face with faint scars across his cheek and nose, signs of many years spent in battle and on patrol. His eyes are a sharp blue, and they hold a constant air of vigilance. His uniform consists of dark chainmail with the Chorrol crest emblazoned on his chest, paired with a dark green cloak over his shoulders.

Captain Aric is a no-nonsense leader with a deep sense of responsibility toward the people of Chorrol. He has a sharp mind for strategy and a soldier's discipline. Though serious, he is also pragmatic and fair in his judgments, earning the respect of his guards and the townsfolk alike. Aric is fiercely loyal to his city, though his years of service have left him slightly jaded about the political machinations of the Imperial authorities.

Born in Chorrol, Aric Haldane was the son of a blacksmith, but he never took much interest in his father's trade. Instead, he was drawn to the military, enlisting as a young man to fight in border skirmishes near Hammerfell and Valenwood. His quick wit and combat prowess allowed him to rise through the ranks of the city guard quickly. After distinguishing himself in several key battles and keeping the city safe from bandits and marauding creatures, he was promoted to Captain of the Guard.
