Description

Dreadmaul Rock, also known as Dreadmaul Peak, is the base of operations for the Firegut ogres. It is a large structure, with paths leading to the top and a complicated cave system of ogre mounds within. Fire-Gut Rock is an ogre camp well away from the main thoroughfare, in the northeastern area of the Burning Steppes. The Fire-Gut ogres within keep no allies except other ogres, and are determined to push all other races from the land. The camp is strongly defended, with well fortified ogre mounds staggered in a valley of rock. The ogres do not take kindly to visitors of any race but their own, made apparent by the mangled bodies hanging from trees in the wilderness near the camp. Carrion eaters dwell here in mass numbers, as the ogres simply hang from trees what they do not eat. If someone were foolish enough to visit this area, the beasts would likely get him first before he even laid eyes on an ogre.
