Kargath is a small but vital Horde outpost in the Badlands, serving as a regrouping and supply point for orcs and their allies. After Horde forces suffered heavy losses in Dun Morogh and Loch Modan, Kargath remained the last stronghold in the region. Abandoned by the Dustbelcher ogres and left vulnerable, the orcs were saved when Thrall's New Horde sent reinforcements. Thrall then fortified Kargath, naming it after Kargath Bladefist. Today, the Kargath Expeditionary Force, under Thrall’s command, explores the harsh terrain, uncovering valuable minerals and the ancient site of Uldaman. Regular missions are launched to investigate Uldaman’s secrets, also sought by the dwarves. In an effort to reach Blackrock Mountain and confront Rend Blackhand, the Horde carved a path into Searing Gorge—unwittingly unleashing the Dark Iron dwarves once more.
