Description

The Valley of Kings rests in the southwest corner of Loch Modan, near Stonesplinter Valley. It serves as a key route between Dun Morogh and the perilous Searing Gorge. Access to the gorge is tightly controlled by Mountaineer Pebblebitty, who only allows proven adventurers to pass. Lush and solemn, the valley is dominated by two colossal statues of legendary dwarven kings: Madoran Bronzebeard and Khardros Wildhammer. Commissioned by their sons after their deaths, the statues symbolize unity and strength, guarding the entrance to the volcanic southlands, forever changed by Ragnaros’ fiery influence. The site honors dwarven resilience and serves as a stern warning to enemies—especially the Dark Irons—of the high price of treachery. Echoes of ancient wars and the legacy of fallen kings linger here, making it a sacred place for all dwarves and a solemn waypoint for any who travel its path.
