Hillsbrad Fields is a fertile farmland surrounding the town of Hillsbrad, providing food to Southshore and much of the Hillsbrad Foothills. Unlike most of Lordaeron, Hillsbrad and Southshore remain largely intact after the Third War and do not fall under the control of the Scarlet Crusade. Guards in both towns still wear the colors of their former kingdom. The town is led by Magistrate Burnside, supported by the Council of Hillsbrad and Clerk Horrace Whitesteed. Located in the western Foothills—east of Darrow Hill, north of Azurelode Mine, and south of Dalaran—the fields feature orchards, pumpkins, cows, and ongoing mining activity. While apples are the primary crop, the southern orchard produces something different. The people of Hillsbrad constantly face attacks from High Executor Darthalia’s Forsaken forces based in Tarren Mill. Despite the threats, many farmers fight back, staging ambushes. The local militia is armed by Blacksmith Verringtan and his apprentices.
