Southshore is an Alliance coastal town in the Hillsbrad Foothills, serving as the main northern port on Baradin Bay. Though modest in size, it is the region’s largest settlement and a key military and trade hub. The town hosts a small but determined Alliance garrison, defending against the Syndicate from Durnholde Keep and the Forsaken, who now occupy Tarren Mill. Southshore plays a crucial role in protecting southern Lordaeron from the Scourge. Its town council, led by the wise Magistrate Henry Maleb and Marshal Redpath, actively manages defense efforts, including conflicts with ogres and murlocs. Known for its sea turtles, a local delicacy, and its thriving farms, Southshore also boasts a privateer fleet that secures its harbor and supports commerce. A remnant of old Lordaeron, Southshore sheltered Stormwind refugees during the First War and was rebuilt after Horde destruction in the Second War. The annual Hordefall celebration marks that victory.
