Description

Strahnbrad is a Syndicate controlled ghost town located between Alterac and Chillwind Point, on the northeastern foothills of the Alterac Mountains near the Western Plaguelands. The town is mostly abandoned, with only a town hall and blacksmith remaining. Once part of Alterac, the town joined Lordaeron after the Second War. After the Scourging, the Syndicate seized it. Just before the Third War, Blackrock orcs attacked Strahnbrad, capturing villagers for sacrifices to the Burning Legion. The town, poorly defended, sent for aid. Uther the Lightbringer and Prince Arthas responded. On the way, Arthas rescued Timmy and killed bandits. He reached Strahnbrad during the attack. Arthas and his men repelled the orcs, slaying their leader. Though victorious, the town suffered greatly. By year 25, the Syndicate took control of it and have been since using Gol'dir as a slave. Krusk is seeking help to free him.
