Description

Sorrow Hill lies south of Andorhal, in the heart of the Western Plaguelands. Once a peaceful cemetery where nobles and commoners alike were laid to rest, it became a grim symbol of tragedy after the Plague of Undeath swept through the region. Hasty graves mark the desperate defense of Andorhal, while a charred mass pit to the south speaks to the fear of undeath. The town’s final act of hope was the burial of Uther the Lightbringer atop the hill, in a grand tomb that gave Sorrow Hill its name. Now, dark magic from nearby plague cauldrons stirs the graves. Once-peaceful souls return as Skeletal Flayers and Slavering Ghouls, haunting the roads. In the southeast crypt, skeletal mages awaken, and rumors whisper of a Scourge commander nesting deep within. Though a persistent threat, the Scourge here are largely managed by the Argent Dawn, who send novices to keep the corruption from spreading too far.
