Description
Dun Algaz is a mountain pass linking Loch Modan to the Wetlands. Once a strong Dwarven fortress and strategic barrier, it played a key role in the Second War as the Horde’s final stronghold after their retreat from Dun Modr. Though Lord Anduin Lothar attempted to destroy the encampment, Horde forces persisted. Historically, it ensured safe passage between the dwarven lands and Menethil Harbor, protected by Algaz Gate. However, the area has since fallen into ruin. Recently, the Dragonmaw Clan overran the post, forcing Dwarven Mountaineers to retreat. Today, Dun Algaz is a perilous route, where only the strong or swift dare to travel.
