Quel'Danil Lodge is the larger of two high elf outposts in Lordaeron, located in the Hinterlands near Aerie Peak. Overseen by the calm high elf Saldor Shallowbrook, it serves as a diplomatic center for the remaining high elves, known as the Highvale high elves, who number around 650-800 in the region. Jalinde Summerdrake is believed to be one of their leaders. The lodge holds a captive Witherbark troll named Rin'ji, and it functions as a communication hub where ambassadors work to build relations with other races, sharing knowledge about the local Witherbark trolls. After the Third War, the Highvale elves allied with the Wildhammer dwarves, angering the Revantusk trolls, who urged attacks on them. Horde adventurers freed Rin'ji and retrieved an ancient tablet, later tasked by scholar Oran Snakewrithe to destroy Highvale communication documents. Despite these efforts, the elves retained important records about their people.
Quel'Danil Lodge has traditional quel'dorei/sin'dorei architecture.
