Description
Once a thriving homestead known as Gahrron's Quickening, this land now lies blighted and forsaken. Renamed Gahrron's Withering, it marks the eastern edge of the Western Plaguelands—deep within territory claimed by the Scourge. A massive plague cauldron festers at its heart, belching noxious fumes that corrupt the very air. The site is guarded by the fearsome Cauldron Lord Soulwrath and his undead cohorts, including twisted spirits like Haunting Visions, Wailing Deaths, and Hungering Wraiths. Brave members of the Argent Dawn often venture here to stem the tide of undeath, for the quests tied to this cauldron offer substantial recognition in their cause against the Scourge.
