Description

Uther's Tomb, nestled on Sorrow Hill in the Western Plaguelands, stands as a solemn tribute to Uther the Lightbringer—the first paladin and a paragon of the Holy Light. A statue of Uther rises from a marble pedestal, and a sacred aura lingers over the site, offering rare peace in a land consumed by death. The tomb is connected to the lower slopes of Sorrow Hill by the Path of Uther and is tended by High Priest Thel'danis, a high elf who aids the Light’s faithful and discreetly shelters refugees fleeing the undead. After Lordaeron’s fall, Uther and fellow champions held Andorhal against the Scourge, until Arthas, now a death knight, returned to claim the urn of his father and slay his former mentor. Uther’s surviving knights recovered his body and laid him to rest beneath the Light’s gaze. His grave, marked by his likeness wielding a tome and hammer, endures as a beacon of hope in a forsaken realm.
