Light's Hope Chapel, nestled in the Eastern Plaguelands, serves as a sanctuary and the Argent Crusade’s stronghold. Once part of ancient Arathi lands in Eastweald, this hallowed site predates the rise of Lordaeron. Built by the Church of the Holy Light, it became one of the faith's most sacred shrines. Following Arthas’s devastation, Lord Maxwell Tyrosus led a secret effort to bury a thousand fallen champions beneath the chapel to shield them from undeath. After Alexandros Mograine’s fall, exiled paladins formed the Argent Dawn, making the chapel their base and opening their ranks to all races. During a desperate battle against the Scourge, Darion Mograine sacrificed himself to redeem his father, awakening the spirits of the buried heroes to repel the undead. Though victorious, Darion's body and the Ashbringer were lost. The chapel endures as a beacon of hope and unity, hosting alliances—even with former foes—against the darkness.
