Description

The Marris Stead lies atop a ridge in southwestern Eastern Plaguelands, near the main road and west of Crown Guard Tower. Once the home of Nathanos Marris and his family, it was visited by his cousin Stephon and, at times, Sylvanas Windrunner. During the Third War, the Scourge swept through Lordaeron. Despite his prowess, Nathanos was slain at his home by Ramstein the Gorger and raised as a mindless servant of the Lich King. Later, Sylvanas broke his chains and welcomed him into the Forsaken. By her command, Nathanos returned to his stead with his blighthounds, using it as a base to rally Horde champions against the Scourge and the Scarlet Crusade. He also gathered artifacts from the battle of Darrowshire for unknown reasons. His presence drew SI:7’s attention. Mathias Shaw dispatched agents to investigate, but only one returned—rambling about “Nathanos” and “Blightcaller.” The Alliance now seeks adventurers to uncover the truth.
