Description

Faol's Rest lies in eastern Tirisfal Glades, just southwest of the Scarlet Monastery. Once a solemn graveyard for fallen adventurers and monks, it now stands in shadow, largely abandoned. This hallowed ground was the original resting place of Archbishop Alonsus Faol, a revered spiritual leader who passed away before the rise of the Scourge. With the fall of Lordaeron, Faol was raised into undeath and ultimately joined the Forsaken. In time, he emerged as a key figure within the Conclave—a group devoted to unity among priests of all faiths. Before the Plague of Undeath, Faol’s tomb was a place of pilgrimage. Mourners would travel far to honor his memory. Now, nature reclaims the site, and only echoes remain. Yet during the third Burning Legion invasion, members of the Conclave returned here, seeking counsel at the resting place of their founder.
