Altdorf

Altdorf

Altdorf, originally Reikdorf, is the Imperial capital of the Empire and the province of Reikland. It is the seat of the Emperor Karl Franz; home to the Great Cathedral of Sigmar, the Colleges of Magic, the Imperial Engineers School, and the Imperial Zoo. The city is a centre for trade and learning; its docks teem with merchants, its taverns with students. From the strange creatures housed in the Imperial zoo, to the majestically solid, dwarf-built walls, Altdorf is a city of great beauty and variety. The city’s official ruler is Karl Franz; Emperor, Elector Count of Reikland and Prince of Altdorf. Naturally, the Emperor has other duties to occupy him; as a result, Altdorf is really governed by an oligarchy of rich merchants and minor nobles. Corruption is rife; if the Emperor is aware of it, he does nothing.

Gritfang Outpost

Gritfang Outpost

Nestled within the craggy hills of the Blackstone Foothills, the Gritfang Outpost serves as a temporary base for the cunning Orc scouts, who survey the surrounding lands for weak prey or enemy encampments. The air is thick with the scent of smoke and charred meat, as boisterous laughter echoes around the flickering campfires, where crude banners of mottled green and brown hang limply from nearby trees.

Kislev

Kislev

The city of Kislev is the capital of the Tzardom of Kislev, a large and sprawling city at the southern areaof the kingdom, it is surrounded by high walls and defined by architecture using steep roofs and large bell like copulas. It is a snowy city, be it from the climate, or from it being a seat of the Ice Queen and her Ice Court.

Old World

Old World

The Old World, called Elthin Arvan in the Eltharin language of the Elves, is the northwestern region of the Known World's sprawling eastern continent. It is the region of that great landmass where most of the realms of Men are located and is usually defined as the area west of the Worlds Edge Mountains, north of the Blood River and the Dwarf sea fortress of Barak Varr and south of the Troll Country. To its south lies the Badlands and the Southlands and eastward stretches the vast and mysterious Far East.

Praag

Praag

Also known as the Cursed City, Praag is the largest northernmost large city of the Old World. It is a fortified city that suffered many seiges and was rebuilt time and again by Kislevites, mostly of the Ungol ethnicity. Although it has an unflattering monicker, it is a shining example of Kislevite resilience and steadfastness.

Raider's Outpost

Raider's Outpost

A secret Druchii raiding outpost. The Dark Elves use this port to support their raids on the Empire. There is prevalent mist and thick fog that hides the area from passing ships and patrols, most likely the work of Druchii dark magic. The secrecy of this location is paramount to the Dark Elves ambitions in the region.

The Empire

The Empire

The great Imperial Zoological Garden of Altdorf sits on Goellner Hill. It houses many strange and exotic plants and creatures from across the Old World and beyond. Tzardom of Kislev

Tzardom of Kislev

Kislev, officially the Tzardom of Kislev, also known as the "Realm of the Ice Queen," and to the Kislevites themselves as "The Motherland," is the most northerly Human realm of the Old World. Settled by a mixed folk of two ancestries – Ungols and Gospodari, they are charecterized as steadfast, resilient and mostly self reliant. They are in constant struggle with the northern wild tribes who are dedicated to the Chaos Gods.

Under-Altdorf

Under-Altdorf

Under-Altdorf is a sprawling underground network of imperial sewers, ancient dwarven tunnels, caverns, and catacombs, adorned with bones and rusted bloody weapons that tell of past horrors. The stench of decay and sewage pervades the air, while the chittering of rats echo from the shadows. This dark maze is a battleground for adventurers, cultists, and criminals alike, where Skaven and monstrous entities lurk in the unseen depths, vying for control over its treacherous passages.
