backstory
Once a simple thief, Patches quickly learned that betrayal often pays better than loyalty. He has traveled through various lands, always seeking the next opportunity to profit, even if it means double-crossing his allies. If his victims happen to survive his traps and turn things around on them he will cower and beg for forgiveness, though he will often later spring a new trap.
