A horrifying amalgamation of unholy energy and skeletal remains, Skeletal Slime oozes across the shores and shallows of Limgrave, seeking out unwary prey. Its gelatinous mass absorbs the bones of its victims, merging the dead into its form and drawing upon their lifeforce to sustain itself. This dreadful creature is both a formidable predator and a chilling reminder of the fate that awaits those who encounter it.

Ambush Drop

The Skeletal Slime can drop from above onto a target. If it is in an elevated position, it can make a surprise attack against a creature below, dealing an additional 1d8 bludgeoning damage if it hits.

Bone Stab

The Skeletal Slime lashes out with protruding bones from its gooey form, making a melee attack against a target within 5 feet. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 piercing damage and must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or take an additional 1d6 necrotic damage.

Engulf

The Skeletal Slime can attempt to engulf a Medium or smaller creature within 5 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or be engulfed, becoming incapacitated until it escapes. While engulfed, the creature takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage at the start of each of its turns.
