Description

The Crucible Tree Knight is a formidable specter of a once-noble warrior, now cursed to roam as a guardian of ancient, forbidden knowledge. Clad in chaotic, rusted armor resembling the twisted branches of a dying tree, they appear both majestic and grotesque, embodying the destructive beauty of nature's cycle. Their presence exudes an aura of ancient power, resonating with echoes of fallen glory and the burden of time, as they protect the sanctum of the Erdtree.

Aspect of the Crucible: Horns

As a bonus action, the Crucible Tree Knight can interweave their attacks with the chaotic energy of the Crucible, creating a series of horn-like eruptions from the ground that target all creatures within a 10-foot radius. Each target must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d8 bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Crucible Guard

The Crucible Tree Knight summons spectral shields made of shimmering energy that grants them +3 to AC for one round. This action can be taken after being targeted by an attack.

Greatspear Strike

The Crucible Tree Knight makes a melee attack with their greatspear, dealing 2d10 + 8 piercing damage. On a hit, the target must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or take an additional 2d6 radiant damage.
