Description

Nestled in the craggy mountains of Hjaalmarch, southeast of Morthal, Labyrinthian is a vast and ancient ruin steeped in both Nordic legend and magical legacy. Once the grand city of Bromjunaar, the capital of the Dragon Cult, it later became a training ground for Arch-Mage Shalidor’s mages and eventually fell into ruin. Its name now fits its sprawling, twisting structure—an eerie complex of collapsing towers, shadowed halls, and buried secrets. Central to the Staff of Magnus questline, Labyrinthian is filled with traps, draugr, magical wards, and spectral echoes of its past. Beneath its outer ruins lies a crypt where the Dragon Priest Morokei is entombed, sealed behind powerful wards. The deeper one ventures, the more the ruin shifts from forgotten school to deadly tomb—where magic pulses through the very walls and where the past’s ambition still whispers in the frost. Labyrinthian is a test of endurance, will, and wisdom—its secrets protected by time, death, and the arcane.
