Description

The Shivering Isles, also known as the Madhouse, is the Daedric realm of Sheogorath, the Prince of Madness. It is split into two distinct regions: Mania, embodying vibrant creativity and euphoria, and Dementia, representing despair and paranoia. The land mirrors its patron’s chaotic and unpredictable nature, with striking contrasts between its lush, surreal landscapes and its dark, oppressive swamps. The Isles are inhabited by various creatures, including the golden Saints and dark Seducers, and by mortals who have been drawn into Sheogorath's realm, often succumbing to madness. At the heart of the Isles stands the city of New Sheoth, divided into Bliss and Crucible, reflecting the duality of Mania and Dementia.
