Description

Dranil Kir is a foreboding, mountainous island located off the coast of Auridon, in the province of the Summerset Isles. Long considered an island of mystery, Dranil Kir is infamous for its treacherous storms, concealed traps, and ancient wards that deter the unprepared. The island’s most notable feature is its use by the Psijic Order of Artaeum as a containment site for the Obscuros—a powerful scrying device capable of projecting a mage’s perception to all within its range. The arcane energies of the Obscuros have blanketed the island in perpetual poor weather, with thick fog, violent winds, and unpredictable tides isolating Dranil Kir from the outside world. Rumors speak of the island having vanished entirely at one point.
