Description

Masser is the larger and more dominant of Nirn's moons, its crimson glow illuminating the night skies of Tamriel. Its surface is scarred with ancient craters and jagged ridges, a testament to its ageless journey through the heavens. Revered by many Tamrielic cultures, Masser plays a vital role in myths, religious practices, and the flow of magicka. The Khajiit revere it as Jone, believing its cycles to influence their lives and physical forms. Imperial scholars regard it as a "tear" in Oblivion, allowing Aetherius' light to permeate Nirn and channel the essence of magicka. Masser’s presence is also tied to astrological prophecies, with its phases marking significant events in Tamriel’s history. Whether viewed as a divine sentinel or a silent guardian of the mortal realm, Masser stands as an enduring symbol of Tamriel’s connection to the cosmos.
