Description

Secunda is the smaller, silvery-gray moon of Nirn, orbiting alongside its crimson counterpart, Masser. Its pale light gently illuminates the skies, offering a subtle contrast to Masser’s imposing presence. Secunda holds great cultural and mystical significance across Tamriel. The Khajiit, who know it as Jode, view Secunda as an essential part of their lunar religion, with its phases shaping their lives and destinies. In Imperial cosmology, Secunda is seen as another "tear" in the fabric of Oblivion, allowing the divine light of Aetherius to filter through and empower magicka. While less dominant than Masser, Secunda is no less vital in its influence, often symbolizing change, adaptability, and the fleeting nature of time. Its rare conjunctions with Masser—such as lunar eclipses—are regarded as moments of cosmic alignment, heralding significant events in Tamriel’s history.
