Description

Halcyon Lake, also known as Lake Bjoulsae, lies in the Mournoth region of northern Bangkorai. Its calm waters have long served as a vital resource for nearby settlements, while the lake itself holds centuries of history beneath its surface. The ruins of Bisnensel, an ancient Ayleid city founded by the Last King of the Ayleids, Laloriaran Dynar, rest half-submerged near the central island, a testament to a bygone era. The lake’s shores have witnessed numerous events, from the rise of cults to desperate attempts to stave off the desertification of Bangkorai. Despite its serene surface, Halcyon Lake is a place of deep lore and quiet mystery, drawing scholars, adventurers, and pilgrims alike.
