Description

Ashford lies southeast of Thornvale, a quiet farming village famed for its fertile fields and expert blacksmiths. Named after the ancient ash tree that stands at its center, Ashford has long been a vital agricultural hub, providing grain, vegetables, and livestock to nearby towns and cities. The village’s blacksmiths are particularly respected, producing sturdy tools, armor, and weapons for traders and adventurers passing through. Local legends tell of the ancient ash tree's mystical origins, believed to have grown from a fallen star, granting it protective powers over the village. Despite its peaceful appearance, Ashford has faced its share of hardships, from raiders to harsh winters, fostering a resilient and tight-knit community.
