Description

Brackenrest lies nestled between Cadlew Chapel and Cedrian, surrounded by the misty wetlands of the Nibenay Basin. Its residents make their living through marshland farming, fishing, and harvesting rare herbs found only in the basin’s rich soil. The village is well-known for its finely woven reed goods and potent alchemical ingredients. Despite its peaceful demeanor, Brackenrest holds a deeper allure—the nearby marshes are home to scattered Ayleid ruins, partially sunken and overgrown, attracting adventurers and scholars in search of forgotten treasures. Villagers whisper of strange lights flickering in the night and unsettling echoes that drift across the water, remnants of an ancient past that refuses to be forgotten.
