Description

Nestled between Fernwatch Crossing and Leyawiin, Marshgate is a modest village built along the edges of the fertile marshlands that stretch inland from the Topal Bay region. The village thrives on fishing, farming, and harvesting reeds from the surrounding wetlands, which are used to craft baskets, mats, and even lightweight boats. Traders traveling between Leyawiin and Bravil often pass through Marshgate, making it a quiet yet essential stop along the inland trade routes. Despite its calm demeanor, the village is known for eerie local tales of strange figures seen wandering the marshes at night—believed by some to be lost souls from an ancient Khajiiti village that once stood nearby.
