Description

Stillrise Village was a Kothringi settlement located in the swampy expanse of Shadowfen, west of Stormhold. Once a devout community that worshipped Clavicus Vile, the villagers eventually turned to Aedric deities. The village was devastated by the Knahaten Flu, and in a desperate bid to survive, the leaders made a deal with Clavicus Vile, resulting in their transformation into immortal skeletal beings bound to a soul gem array. For two decades, the villagers lived under this curse, using illusion magic to hide their true forms. The Worm Cult’s interference and the arrival of the Vestige brought further turmoil, leaving the village’s fate uncertain. The few Kothringi survivors eventually served the Ideal Masters before their extinction by 2E 864.
