Description

Hissmir is a sacred site for Argonians, located deep within the Venomous Fens of southern Shadowfen. Centered around an ancient xanmeer complex, it serves as a pilgrimage destination for Argonians from across Tamriel seeking to complete the Trials of the Burnished Scales and commune with the Hist. The Hist amber produced here, though rare in modern times, once allowed the creation of powerful Zaht stones used for defense. Hissmir’s rich history includes conflicts during the Three Banners War, where Dominion forces sought to sever the Argonians' bond with the Hist. Despite such turmoil, the settlement remains a vibrant community of hunters, artisans, and pilgrims, with its xanmeer standing as a symbol of Argonian resilience.
