Description

Daenia is the southernmost region of Glenumbra, a land of gentle hills, dense forests, and ancient magic. Stretching from the coastal city of Daggerfall in the southwest to the mystical Beldama Wyrd Tree in the north, Daenia is a place where civilization and the old ways meet. The region’s heart is rich with Breton culture—villages dot the woodlands, stone roads wind between crumbling ruins, and the distant toll of Daggerfall’s bells carries across the countryside. Yet beneath its pastoral charm lies something older. The forests of Daenia are steeped in wyrd magic, where the veil between Mundus and spirit is thin. The Beldama Wyrd maintain sacred groves here, protecting ancient pacts and natural balances still barely understood by outsiders. Travelers are advised to tread carefully—while the roads are often safe, the deeper woods whisper with stories of spirits, curses, and strange sights. In Daenia, the past is never far, and nature still speaks in the language of the old gods.
