Joren is a tall and muscular Nord with short, sandy-blond hair and a sun-tanned complexion from long hours spent outdoors. His hands are rough and calloused from years of working with horses, and he has a warm, easygoing smile. He often wears simple leather breeches and a tunic, with a sturdy apron and gloves for handling the animals, and he always carries a small knife at his belt for quick repairs on tack or equipment.

Joren is laid-back and friendly, preferring the company of horses to that of most people. He has a natural gift for calming even the most difficult animals, and his love for them shines through in his work. While he is easygoing by nature, he takes his duties very seriously and is meticulous in his care for the stables, ensuring the horses are well-fed, groomed, and ready for any journey. Joren is known for his patience and kindness, and he is always happy to share a story or offer advice to anyone who stops by the stables.

Born and raised in Skyrim, Joren grew up working on his family’s farm, where he developed a love for animals—particularly horses. His skills with handling and training horses eventually led him to leave his homeland in search of work, and he found his way to Chorrol. Impressed by his abilities, Castle Valga hired him as their stablemaster, a position he has held for several years. Joren enjoys his work and finds satisfaction in ensuring that the Countess’s horses are well-cared for and ready for any situation, from ceremonial processions to long-distance travel.
