His signature black boots are scuffed from countless miles traveled, lending him his nickname.

Charming, cocky, and always looking for the next thrill, Torsten lives for the excitement of mercenary life. He’s a gambler at heart, both with dice and in battle, often taking risks that others would avoid. Despite his laid-back attitude and habit of making light of serious situations, Torsten is a dependable fighter when things get tough, and his loyalty to Hawkwood Company is unquestionable. Though he can be a bit reckless, his charm and skill have made him a well-liked, if occasionally exasperating, member of the group.

Torsten grew up in the bustling streets of the Imperial City, where he learned how to talk fast, fight when necessary, and gamble to make a living. After a few run-ins with the law, he decided to leave city life behind and try his luck as a mercenary, where his quick reflexes and natural charisma proved valuable assets. He joined Hawkwood Company after a chance encounter with Velerius Hawkwood in a tavern, and he’s been a loyal, if sometimes unpredictable, member ever since. While he enjoys the life of a mercenary, Torsten is always on the lookout for the next big score, both in combat and at the dice table.
