appearance
Hircine is often depicted as a towering humanoid figure with antlers sprouting from his head, symbolizing his dominion over the hunt and beasts. His muscular form is draped in primal, animalistic attire made of pelts and bones. His piercing, glowing eyes reflect the predatory instincts of the wild, and he carries a spear or bow, both symbols of his mastery of the hunt. His presence exudes an aura of untamed ferocity and primal authority.
personality
Hircine is both noble and savage, embodying the duality of the predator and the prey. He respects strength, skill, and cunning, rewarding those who prove themselves worthy in the hunt. Though he is not malicious, he is utterly indifferent to morality, seeing the hunt as a natural cycle of life. He despises cowardice and weakness, favoring those who embrace their primal instincts and strive to become apex predators.
backstory
Hircine is the Daedric Prince of the Hunt, the Father of Beasts, and the creator of lycanthropy. He governs over all aspects of the hunt, including predators and prey, and views the hunt as the ultimate expression of life and survival. His realm, the Hunting Grounds, is a vast, untamed wilderness where his followers and prey eternally engage in the cycle of the hunt. Those who serve him in life or death often find themselves in his realm, joining his eternal hunt as either hunters or prey.
