Once a skilled mill worker in Riverwood, Embry's life took a downward spiral into alcoholism and regret. He spends his days nursing a tankard outside the Sleeping Giant Inn, reflecting on better times while offering sharp observations to those who pass by. Despite his bitterness, he holds a quiet fondness for the town and gratitude for Gerdur's kindness, even as he feels forgotten by the world.
