He courts attention as much as he courts women, especially Carlotta Valentia—despite her very clear rejections. While undeniably talented, his arrogance often overshadows his music, drawing more groans than applause from the regulars. Still, there’s something genuine in his passion for performance, and beneath the bravado may lie a bard who just wants to be remembered.
