backstory
Astrid, a striking Nord woman in her late thirties, leads the Falkreath Sanctuary with a blend of confidence and authority. She has abandoned the old ways of the Five Tenets, running the Brotherhood more like a family than a cult. Married to Arnbjorn, she maintains tight control over the Sanctuary, but her rule is threatened by the arrival of the Night Mother and the Dragonborn's rise as Listener. Her eventual betrayal of the Brotherhood stems from fear, not malice, leading to a tragic end filled with fire, blood, and a final plea for redemption.
