appearance
A male Dunmer with a lean, weathered frame, ash-gray skin, and crimson eyes that carry a weary, distant gaze. He wears simple, earth-toned farm clothes designed for labor, and a modest iron dagger hangs at his side. His posture is slightly stooped, reflecting the weight of physical labor and societal marginalization.
personality
Faryl is a man of few words, his demeanor marked by stoicism and a subdued bitterness. He seldom speaks of his discontent, but his actions and occasional remarks reveal a deep-seated frustration with his circumstances. He values hard work and familial duty, yet the societal barriers he faces as a Dunmer in Windhelm have instilled in him a sense of resignation. While not overtly confrontational, Faryl's quiet defiance manifests in his unwavering commitment to his work and his family, even as he navigates a world that often seems indifferent to his struggles.
backstory
Faryl resides in Windhelm's Gray Quarter, sharing the Atheron Residence with his siblings, Aval and Suvaris. Unlike Aval, who runs his own market stall, Faryl works at Brandy-Mug Farm under the employ of Bolfrida, a Nord farmer. He harbors a quiet resentment about his position, feeling the sting of having to 'work for a Nord' to make ends meet. Despite this, he continues his labor, driven by necessity and a desire to provide for his family. In the evenings, he often seeks solace outside the New Gnisis Cornerclub, perhaps finding brief respite in the company of fellow Dunmer and the familiar warmth of shared stories and drinks.
