backstory
As the patriarch of the influential Cruel-Sea clan, Torsten oversees Hollyfrost Farm, situated just outside Windhelm. Though his lineage boasts generations of sailors, Torsten chose the path of a farmer—a decision he sometimes reflects upon with regret. He is married to Hillevi Cruel-Sea, and together they have a son, Grimvar. Their daughter, Fjotli, was tragically murdered, a loss that has left an indelible mark on the family. In the wake of this tragedy, Torsten took justice into his own hands, tracking down and eliminating the Altmer responsible. This act unveiled the presence of the Summerset Shadows, a rival guild operating in Windhelm, prompting Torsten to seek further retribution to protect his family's legacy.
